Game Over: Our Work At The Rogers Cup

posted on August 14th 2018 in Events with 0 Comments

This past week we celebrated the 126th year of Women’s Tennis for the 2018 Rogers Cup in Toronto at York University. Formerly known as the Canadian Masters, the Rogers Cup is a two-part split tournament. In odd numbered years, the men play in Montreal while the women play in Toronto and vice versa even numbered years.

In Montreal, this year’s version of the annual Canadian tournament featured 30 of the Top 35 women players.

Some of the athletes that were balling out on the courts were Roger’s Cup champion Simona Halep and main draw wildcards Eugenie “Genie” Bouchard, Maria Sharapova and Venus Williams. With more than $3M in prize money up for grabs, the stakes were high and balls were flying.

The G of G Inc Team was lucky enough to represent Infiniti – the Platinum sponsor of The Rogers Cup and Official vehicle of the women’s tournament.

This was our 2nd year being a part of the tennis festivities here in Toronto as representatives of Infiniti’s luxury vehicles.

Our Brand Ambassadors picked up fans from the general shuttle pick up area and dropped them off at the Aviva Centre for the games giving all of the guests a VIP experience. Along the ride, they would inform guests about all the awesome features included within the 2019 Infiniti QX60. Some of these features include the fact that Infiniti is the official vehicle of the Rogers Cup. Infiniti is a Japanese brand, bold in their actions, who does not follow the pack and always put people first. The QX60 has a rearview monitor, around view monitor, lane departure warning, direct adaptive steering and active lane change features to name a few.
