First things first – we wanted to send a reminder to all G of G Inc Brand Ambassadors to mark emails from the below addresses as safe! If they are not marked as safe in your inbox, there is a high chance that you are missing out on some awesome upcoming opportunities such as this weekend’s Halloween activations, or the upcoming yearly favourite, Teddy Bear Affair!

Emails to mark as safe include:

Now onto a more serious topic, personal safety! With Halloween coming up, followed by the holiday season, there are many special events and parties that you will find yourself invited to! Not only might you be invited, but you might actually be working at some too. These events tend to run late into the night or even to the next morning, so we thought it would be a good idea to go over some tips and precautions to take into consideration on your next evening out on the town.

Driving? Park somewhere with a parking attendant, and with good lighting, so that when you are looking for your car later you are able to easily see your surroundings. Take a picture of your parking spot/spot number and the surroundings as well. Also, gather directions to your destination in advance so that you aren’t late and causing yourself extra stress or panic while behind the wheel and give yourself ample time to find a safe and secure parking lot.

Taking an Uber home? Split it with your co-work or one of your friends who you went out with. Safety comes in numbers, and this way you can even watch as friends arrive home, through the app.

Speak up! If you feel uncomfortable, say something, whether to an on-site contact or manager (if you are working) or to one of your friends who joined you at the party or get together! If someone is making you feel uncomfortable, there is no harm in taking a precaution or raising awareness to other workers.

We love this time of year, with all of the colourful costumes, glittery make up and an all around good time! We hope you all have a spooktacular and safe weekend and we can’t wait to see all your costumes on the gram!
