Spreading Word of Mouth with Patron XO Cafe
Tequila makes us think of partying, having fun, and possibly even making it an early night. But over the weekend our girls were stationed at the grand opening of the new Jack Astor’s in Mississauga at Square One sampling a different tequila most of us are not familiar with.
Patron XO Café is a coffee flavoured tequila. Maybe not the kind of tequila you would want to drink all night, but rather thought of as a special liqueur. What was the reaction of this unexpected flavor?
Kelly and Natalia had nothing but positive feedback to share from those who tasted a sample. Consumers said it was smooth and would make a great after-dinner or dessert shot. They felt the flavor was good, and even people who weren’t coffee drinkers enjoyed the taste.
With about 100 or more people in contact with our girls that day, they were able to reach out to consumers and bring them out of their comfort zone to try something new. The great thing about these events is that it gives brands a chance to sample products that consumers haven’t quite excepted yet because they are unsure about it. It’s a great way to spread word of mouth about a new product that has a lot of potential – like Patron XO Café.
