Taking You To Where You Need To Go: Our Work at the Rogers Cup
Over the past week, the Rogers Cup: Canadian Open tennis tournament returned to the courts for its 136th year of top-tier competitive tennis action. Each year, the event alternates between the cities of Montreal and Toronto; this year, Toronto hosted the annual women’s competition, which is a Premier 5 Tournament on the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) tour. With one of the most elite sponsorship markets, the 2017 Rogers Cup featured INFINITY as a major sponsor, and G of G Inc. was at the event as part of an activation as personal INFINITY chauffeurs for guests attending the tennis matches.
Each member of the G of G Inc. team was given a 2017 INFINITY QX60 to drive – the smoothest new mid-size luxury crossover SUV ride from INFINITY, with a 295-hp 3.5-liter V-6 engine, all-wheel drive, an 8” touch screen navigation and audio system, rear-seat entertainment, onboard Wi-Fi, a third row of additional seating, and every possible camera and parking technology available.
We were all styled up in INFINITY branded clothing and stationed in parking lot C, the farthest lot from the stadium gates, where we “surprised” tennis match attendees by offering them a free ride to the stadium gates. The other two options for getting the stadium were taking a big yellow school bus, stuffed with people, or walking 25+ minutes in the August heat – the choice was clear for many, and G of G Inc. spent the entire week giving people luxurious rides in a brand new vehicle.
