That Was a Cold One
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! That is if you love sunshine, music and a cold beer in your hand! The Toronto Festival of Beer had another great weekend and G of G Inc and their brand ambassadors were so excited to be a part of this festival again.
This year, our team could be found at the Boxer booth. Brewed by Minhas Brewery, Boxer has a wide variety of options to choose from. Boxer lager is a classic, however there is also gluten free options, watermelon and apple flavoured, Boxer Light, and even Boxer Bubbly for those fancier occasions. Is Boxer not a beer that you were previously familiar with? Not a problem! Our reps were well versed in various product knowledge and key messaging that left people with a lasting impression, and kept them smiling as they walked away with their first sample. Needless to say they had repeat samplers who were pleasantly surprised with all the yummy options Boxer had to offer!
The festival features an abundance of beers but it also had food and some musical acts to keep you energized and entertained. For those of you lucky enough to attend this three day festival, you were able to see some of these great entertainers including, House of Pain, The Temperance Movement, Maestro Fresh Wes, Jelleestone and more! If you are serious about your beer and love to know more about what you are sampling, the festival also runs a “Beer School” which were basically drop in classes, where you could meet the brewers, learn about food pairings, and even the history of beer. If only all classes let you sip an ice cold beer during then, then maybe school wouldn’t have been so bad!
The days are long and the sun is hot, but our team had smiles from start to finish!
