As summer approaches, festival season is upon us. In the words of Kenny Chesney, “You’ve never heard of her favourite band unless you been to Bonnarroo or Burning Man.” By now, these festivals have become uber popular and are just a few of the hottest tickets of the upcoming outdoor music season. If you want to impress her and know all the artists on her Ipod, keep on reading to find out what the must see music festivals are for 2017 and who can help you get there. Check out these hot festivals we will be working on with Joe Knows Tickets:
BottleRock – This festival happening in Napa Valley is not just for music lovers, but also for food, wine and beer fans as well! It all starts off with Maroon 5 headlining on the Friday, followed by Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers on Saturday and finishing off with The Foo on Sunday. You can either check out other bands in between, or head to the culinary stage, check out some art displays, or indulge in the many food and beverage options. To be honest, what would a music festival in the middle of Napa Valley be without some amazing wines and sommeliers on site! Not every festival offers that type of experience so this is definitely a festival to check out on May 26th-28th, 2017.
Coachella – This festival running over 2 weekends boasts headliners like Radiohead, Lady Gaga, Kendrick Lamar, Travis Scott, Martin Garrix, and Lorde, including literally every genre you could ask for. Set up in the desert in Southern California, you can’t help but get jealous every time you see a post from this unbelievable festival on Instagram, so pick a date between April 14th and 23rd, head to Cali and you don’t have to be jealous anymore!
Bonnarroo – Not only can you catch amazing performances by U2, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and The Weeknd they also have some comedy stars on stage too such as Hannibal Buress and Natasha Leggero. You can camp with thousands of other festival goers across hundreds of acres on Tennessee land. They also are super conscious about being one of the greenest festivals setting standards with their sustainability practises, so you can check out awesome bands, eat, drink and really feel merry about it!
Burning Man – You can be one of the tens of thousands of people who create the temporary Black Rock City in Nevada’s Black Rock Desert. Burning Man stands out from the average music festival, as it has a huge focus on art and some crazy installations you just have to see in person.
Lollapalooza – We couldn’t forget about this Chicago staple! We may still be waiting for the line up but with past headliners like RHCP, J. Cole, Lana Del Rey, Kings of Leon, Outkast, and Eminem, there is definitely someone on this line up that you would love to see.
Since, there is no way that one of the above festivals didn’t catch your interest, be sure to contact Joe Knows Tickets to make sure you don’t miss out on what could be the best weekend of your life!
