We Aren’t Done With Summer Yet: Our Work at The Toronto Cider Festival

In the summer, there is no better way to spend a sunny day than at an outdoor festival. To make it sound even more appealing, let’s make this a cider festival. Intrigued? Well, what if we told you it was given the Best Festival Award in 2017 by Notable! That’s right, G of G Inc was so excited to be a part of the Toronto Cider Festival last weekend (if you don’t believe us check out the smile on our teams faces!). This festival brings together over 100 kinds of ciders from not only Canada but all over the world! Each year has a different vibe or theme if you will. These year’s theme suggested that festival goers dusted off their cowboy boots and really got into character as the Wild Wild West was brought down to Sherbourne Common’s in Toronto.

We were stationed at the Thornbury Cider booth offering samples of their Premium Apple Cider, Cranberry Cider, Blood Orange Cider and Wild Blueberry Elderflower Cider. YUM! While providing guests with various key messages about each product, our team made sure guests in their footprint were enjoying every minute with the Thornbury team. Two of these flavours (Blood Orange Cider and Wild Blueberry Elderflower Cider) are only available at the Cider House located in Thornbury for a limited time, so the opportunity the try them out at this festival was quite a treat. The other two varietals are available at the LCBO and are equally as delicious.

What is the benefit of hiring brand ambassadors at a festival such as this? For this event in particular, the team also acted as an on-site manager, set up and tear down staff, as well as assisted with logistics. During all of this, they also continued to have a smile on their face, inform the public about the brand, and have fun! We love that our clients can trust us to run the event from A – Z on the weekends that they just can’t make it on site. (Everyone deserves a little down time sometimes!)

If this sounds like something you would like to learn more about, email for more information. If you are an organized and energetic, reliable and licensed driver, email for more info about some upcoming opportunities we have at the last few festivals of the summer! Please include a resume and 3 photos. If you are comfortable working with kegs as well, that is a huge bonus! We look forward to hearing from you.
